Revere Beach is transformed once a year, Sand Sculptures

For the past few years, my husband and I have gone to the International Sand Sculpting Festival on Revere Beach just north of Boston. It is a great event, and the artful sculptures captivate. The participants are from the United States and all over the world. It is worth the trip and right near an MBTA blueline train station. I look forward to this event every year. We lucked out that the weather was beautiful to stroll the beach.

Are you an Artists? I have a call to Artists "Windows and Doors"

INTENT TO SHOW SHEET IS DUE AT THE GUILD BY Sunday, August 20th

"Windows and Doors" bring the outside in. Architecture allows for color, light and shadow. There are stained glass windows, broken windows, and windows into the soul. There are bronze doors, prison doors, and Matisse's balcony doors that open to the Cote d'Azur.
