Introducing Benny. The very quirky Kitty

This is Benny. He was six weeks old when we got him around Christmas time. He was tiny and super cute. He has been growing steadily and has a wacky set of paws, lots of whiskers, and very fuzzy ears. He has extra digits which effects his running a tiny bit. It is fun to watch him use his paws
to his advantage.

He loves to get in trouble, climb and jump on my shoulders. I am so glad we adopted him from the Animal Rescue League in Dedham

I spotted this guy when the Animal rescue league visited the annual Holiday stroll in Dedham Square.

Museum of Arts and Design, New Territories

By Angello García Bassi (Cubotoy), Chile

These are more photos from the Exhibit New Territories, Laboratories for Design, Craft and Art in Latin America. This was a fascinating exhibit. It  makes you think innovation and art is happening around the world. It sounds simple but I don't always have modern design from other parts of the world are on my radar. What about you?

Few NYC pics and MADmuseum

Soup for you!

After the Cooper Hewitt we got ourselves down to the Museum of Arts and Design. One of my favorite museums. It is in Columbus Circle which, is pretty lively. We were a bit hungry so we ate at the Museum restaurant Robert. The food was delish! The restaurant also has a great view, it is on the 9th floor. The service is great too. It is a real treat to eat here and convenient.

Cooper Hewitt, Design!

It was wonderful to visit the Copper Hewitt in NYC. The Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum is the only museum in the nation devoted exclusively to historic and contemporary design. This museum has tons of surprises and great exhibits.

I loved the Tools exhibit. There was everything from simple ancient tools to modern day. This exhibit made you really think about tools in our everyday life and their designers. There were sketches of the beginnings of some of the tools we all take for granted such as straws, pens, and more. I recommend this exhibit, it is thought provoking and filled with wonderful objects!

Making Music Modern II, MOMA, NYC

In loved the posters and look of this exhibit. It was fun to wander and check out the album design over the decades. Many of the designs looked simple but were very sophisticated. I also like things that are vintage. Rounded lines and some of the bright colors of radios.

Making Music Modern: Design for Ear and Eye We loved this exhibit and it will continue until November 2015. Time to get done to NYC and check it out. I am a fan of Adam Ant and found this handmade photocopied flyer very fun and took me back to the 80s. More comment and photos soon...
