While in Seville we visited a fun neighborhood, Santa Cruz. It was a fun neighborhood with buildings close together to give relieve from the sun and heat. I loved photographing the scenes and buildings here. It is worth the trip if you are in Seville.

More alcazar shots. The tile, the walkways, sculpture, architecture, iron work are very impressive. I wish we could have stayed over night here so I could wander for many hours
The pool of Koi/Carp was a little creepy and they seemed pretty hungry. Grasping at the surface looking for food. It was hard to pick a photo of them not looking too weird.

Alcazar Place in Seville, Spain. It is the oldest royal palace still in use in Europe, and it was registered in 1987 byUNESCO as a World Heritage Site, along with the Seville Cathedral and the General Archive of the Indies. From Wikipedia
We visited this palace on a very sunny hot day in Seville. It was so beautiful with gardens and beautifully, cared for buildings. It is great seeing the influence of the Moors, in its design.
This is a must see in Seville! More photos soon...

We took a side trip to Sevilla on the way to Moroco. It is a pretty city in the south of country. Hot and dry. It had a very different feel than Barcelona. Smaller and more crowded. The architecture was much different, less variety (but nice) with smaller streets to create shade for the buildings. More photos soon...

The Cathedral has 13 geese in it's care. They strut around and they are pretty spoiled. Why not!
The church has beautiful details and a few freaky ones too. I hope you enjoyed my tour
