Details, Symphony Hall, Boston

On Sunday, we attended the Handel and Haydn Society's, concert "Haydn in Paris" at Symphony Hall in Boston. I used to work at Symphony Hall and I have always loved the hall. The design, statues, cherubs, lights, details, and sound are carefully designed for the best listening experience. and of course, the concert was wonderful.

Bright Day, Snow Day

This morning was so beautiful. It had snowed last night and coated everything. I was lucky it was warm enough to take a stroll around Dedham. It mostly melted by noon. Sometimes getting up early makes all the difference.

Black and White, It's all the Fashion, Boston

Walking down Newbury Street I seemed to find lots of black and white fashion and Jonathan Adler. The Adler store is always changing it windows so I am sure to photograph something fun. I predict lots of black and white for spring and hedgehogs! The animal of the moment

Little Dishes, Dim Sum

We stopped at Hei La Moon for a dim sum lunch before going on to see the Lion Troupes. It was so busy and jammed packed. Everyone seemed to have the same idea. It is fun picking out small dishes from the carts going around for the table. Although, chicken's feet was asked for by accident. Not my favorite. Lots of small bones!

Lion Parade 2013, Chinatown, Boston

Yesterday, I braved the cold and wind and met friends in Chinatown for the Lion Parade. The Chinese New Year is celebrated with the annual Chinese Lion Dance Parade in Chinatown.

We an eventful day with Dim Sum, I was interviewed by emerson students for a Lion Parade study, we watched artists paint calligraphy and enjoyed a cocktail later in the afternoon. The snow finally tapered off so I was also able to get shoot photos without getting wet.

More photos tomorrow...
