We visited the MFA on Saturday. It was a beautiful day to take a stroll in Boston.
We were the very first people to see The Postcard Age exhibit. It was fantastic. We hope to go back and see it again. So much to look at. The exhibit has over 400 postcards. You can go on the MFA website and send a postcard through email. Kind of cool.
We wondered a few other exhibits such as Daniel Rich: Platforms of Power, (one of my favs) Cats to Crickets: Pets in Japan's Floating World and Ori Gersht: History Repeating
Lunch was a stop at the New American Café. I had a yummy pizza and a Sam Adams Brew.

Ending of a season. With cooler weather, my hydrangea flowers have been turning a nice brownish color.
Gearing up for Hurricane Sandy. I am getting all my design work done today in case of power outage.
Wish me luck.

Roaming around Brookwood Farm, Blue Hills Reservation. I have always wanted to stop here. Finally, made the stop. I should go with my gut more often and just stop. You never know what you can find.
I think all the leaves will be gone when the hurricane, Sandy rolls in on monday in the Boston area. I hope we don't lose electricity. My kindle is charged up just in case.

Houghton's Pond, Milton, MA. The pond is part of the Blue Hills reservation. The leaves are a little bit past peak but very beautiful. I found lots to photograph. I love that this park is so close to my home. It is always a great place to relax, walk and hike.

A fall walk in the Boston. We walked from Back Bay to Downtown crossing. Our walk took us through the Public Garden. Three weddings happened that day. Lots of photographing of bridal parties. It was a perfect day for it.
