We had a special treat on Sunday when we shared Jessica Burko's studio during the SOWA art walk. Jessica has been making encaustic collages and decided to do a demonstration the day of the art walk.
She uses recycled materials anything from old patterns to old wallpaper to tell a story. She works with the layering of the materials and the texture of the wax. It was great to see these pieces develop into a cohesive pieces of art and idea.
