Last Sunday, We took a trip into Boston to see the new wing of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. It was a treat to have lunch in their new Café G. The room was airy, big and full of light. Great for photographing meals. We didn't have a reservation so we sat at the communal artist table. Which, turned out great. Our food was yummy and it was a nice start to our visit to the Museum.
The museum doesn't allow photography in it's galleries, oh well. This rule is actually understandable, the art is very delicate and all the rooms have low lighting.
Some of the rooms in the museum were taken up by the Café, coat room, concert hall, and gift shop. Since, the Museum has moved all those things to the new wing, the rooms are now free to look at the art in those rooms. Nice! A new discovery for us.
