New Beginnings
Recently, Sheep Skate moved into a new space in Dedham Square. Eileen, owner of Sheep Skate agreed to let me do one last round of Dedham Open Studios Artists display in the window of her new shop. This ends my open windows project but, a beginning of Sheep Skate's new home. So it is win, win. I had a wonderful time making the store front look more artful while, it was vacant. The story here. I had fun photographing Eileen's display items. Quirky and fun.

Bright
A little brightness after the storm. There is ton of yard cleaning to do but, we are a lucky family, no huge damage and we have power.

Iconic Boston Landmark
On thursday night, we all met at Doyle's Cafe for a Boston Handmade meeting. These meeting are very lively and great to get a chance to pal around. Doyle's is also a fun place to photograph. I enjoyed a Harpoon ale and a small pepperoni pizza. Yummers!
I thought the sign in the last photo was strange and I had never seen it before. Licensed Victualler in this case is a British and Irish term meaning licensed innkeeper and purveyor of spirits

Furry little Friends
My buddies don't totally hang out together, together. But, you can often find them in one room together. I was lucky the day I took these they were all in my livingroom.
Top Left: Maddie, 15 Top Right: Milly, 11 months
Bottom Left: Isabelle, 2 Bottom Right: Nelson, 14
All were adopted or found. People make fun of me for having four and I have no defense but, I am very soft hearted.

Frozen and Yummy
Monday Night, we stopped by Blue Inc. We have been wanting to check out the restaurant in Boston. Jason Santos who was a contestant on Hell's Kitchen opened this restaurant a few months ago. It was a fun experience sitting at the bar watching the bartender make some crazy cocktails. I loved the restaurant design, very funky and fun. The food of course was very tasty. We will be back.
Sorry for the two photos of frozen drinks but, I couldn't decide which one I like best. Which do you like?

Circles and Angles, Boston
Downtown Boston. Check out the gargoyle at the top of the right building. I never noticed it before.

Finally! El Centro
On Saturday, we took a trip into Boston. I wanted to try a new Mexican restaurant in the South End, El Centro. It is Sonoran style mexican food and a style I love and really miss. So flavorful and yummy. We loved the restaurant. I was so excited about my food, I forgot to photograph it until halfway through our meal.

Oasis in the City, Boston
We took a trip to Boston Public Library. It is one of my favorite places in Boston. The courtyard is wonderful and so peaceful. Jeff wanted to see the Civil War exhibit on display. He had never been to the library. It was a new experience for him.

Al Fresco Shrimp and...
Since, buying our new deck furniture I have been embracing summer. I love to lounge outside! I grew the rosemary in the potato dish. I have finally had a good garden this year. It makes me smile.

Pleasant Cafe, Roslindale Neon
I had a little time on Tuesday, after the game. I took a stroll by the Pleasant Cafe. I love it's neon and wall mural. I do like the pizza, too.
