In the Garden, Karlsruhe, Germany

We were lucky enough to walk through the beautiful botanical garden on the way to the Karlsruhe Palace. It is part of the Palace grounds. It had so many wonderful flowers in bloom. Because, of the clouds the colors of the flowers seemed even more intense.

The first flower looks like an Agapanthus...I think I can grow them here in Alabama but haven't tried yet Kerry. I have the Passion Flower growing wild in my field...but only see a bloom every now and then. The last flower, Maltese Cross, I grew in my northern garden and is great for hummingbirds...thanks for reminding me to get some more of those! I don't, however, have a really awesome sculpture in my garden, nor a pond with water lilies...so may have to work on those! ;-)
