A small group of us went wandering from Park Street to Beacon Hill to take photos. I have been here many times but, always find something new and interesting. It is also fun to see the different photos people take of the same spots. It was a steamy night but we explored quite a bit. We ended the night with a delicious meal at the King and I. I had never been and was a delight. More photos soon...
Check out Allison's, Lucie's and Arthur's photos here.
Dedham is not a rural town but we are lucky to have beautiful places to visit within the town. The top photo was taken on the front lawn of the First Church in Dedham Square. These blooms are so beautiful.
I have been recently hiking in Cutler Park it covers Dedham and Needham. We were a bit lost at one point but, some experienced hikes were able to show us the way. To trail led to a tunnel, I suspect teenagers party in the tunnel. There were lots of graffiti in the tunnel. What was need there was some moss along the edges trying to grow over it. The park is beautiful and I just loved walking on the boardwalk.
Another place, I have been recently, is the new trail that goes around the Newbridge on the Charles property. It may someday connect with the Wilson Mountain trail. It is across the street from Wilson Mountain and starts with the Whitcomb woods trail. It isn't a long trail but a nice walk. There are benches and gazebo's to take a rest bit. I do advise bring some bug spray. My friend and I did not and we ended up with bug bites on our bug bites. Sadly, Sun screen doesn't help that much.

This is my first Treasury East on Etsy. It is kind of nice to have a permanent collection that I choose. It has not made the front page yet. One can always hope! I also have included a few Boston Handmade members like All the numbers, Reclaimed to You, Pressbound, and cricicis. Also, included is a wonderful painting by my blogger friend and fellow artist Nathalie. I love the color red. It just pops.

I stopped by the Dedham Farmer's Market on Wednesday. There was so much to choose from! The market on wednesday even had seafood, cheese, meat, and live music. I bought tomatoes, snap peas, strawberries, and other fresh veggies. I ran into a few friends of mine, too. I really like that I am supporting local farmers and also, eating fresh food that is good for me.

These are photos of the band the Bone Dogs. They were fun and seem to really enjoy performing. They also, were great to let us photograph them. After, their first set Ken and I had a bit of lunch at a little local restaurant.
I can't help myself, I saw this old bike and had to photograph it.

Betsy Baker's jewelry, she is at the South End Open Market all summer. Her company is Stone House Studios. I really love her creative designs. I also, love visiting this market. You can look at art, buy a good sandwich or pick up some veggies from the many farmers that have booths there. The top photo struck me as a very clever way to sell and display good for sale, super cute.

These are more photos from our day in Boston. The day started out so foggy. Everything was wet from the night's rain. It was fun photographing the puddles of water. This was on our way to the ICA. Our first stop in our adventure. We checked out the works of Dr Lakra at the ICA. It was well worth the trip.

Hubby and I decided to have a day in Boston. We visited the ICA, the Copley Society of Art, and had a yummy lunch at the Parish Café in the Back Bay, and then headed over to the South End Open Market. I stopped by to see some of my artist friends. The South End Open Market moved this year and seems to be thriving. We did a little window shopping, too. We ended the day with a drink at Gaslight. I love the cool feel of this French restaurant. It is very comforting and reminds me of Paris. More photos later...
