I took this outside a laundromat in Needham, MA. These chairs look so seventies. It reminded me off all those years of taking my laundry to the laundromat, sitting reading waiting for my laundry to be done. If you are luck you have brought a good book.

Hanging Around

A little fun with the Neiman Marcus widow display. I thought
this window was quite dramatic. Usually their window displays are some kind of beautiful clothes on stark white mannequins. Nothing most of us could afford.

Comfort food

I had lunch at Silvertone, recently. They have a great comfort food menu and a friendly staff. They have great specials and I am always tempted to order one of them. But yet again I fall back to one of my favorite dishes grilled cheese and fries. Bad for me yes, but great for a cold day.

Random Lens Experiment

I took a trip into Boston, got my haircut, had lunch with hubby at Silvertone and took lots of photos. I am still trying out my new lens. It has been fun and I walking in the same places but finding new things to photograph. It was a bit chilly today but the walk was good for me.

My First Shots

These are my first shots with the Wide Angle lens. It finally arrived yesterday from Amazon. I live near a elementary school, I walked over there to test my lens. These shots are from the classroom windows. I thought these figures were kind of cute.

Friday Mannequin

My favorite mannequin, in all it's winter glory. This is the latest outfit. I keep going back to see what new crazy outfit this mannequin is dressed up in. I feel bad for it, though, it is always dressed up with at least one socks with a hole in it.

Thursday, Boston

I had a bit of fun with my photowalk on Saturday and took lots of photos. These are more photos from my walk. I have photographed Chinatown quite a bit so I was surprised to find so much more to take photos of. Nice

From our photowalk on Saturday. I love the top photo with it's contrast of the old building with the very new building in the background. Of course, I indulged and took photos of funky window displays. Enjoy your Tuesday!

Photos from the photowalk with Ken, Amy and Mary. We stopped for lunch at Wagamama. One of my favorite noodle places. My friends like to photograph lunch or dinner whenever, they have a camera in hand. I felt good that I am not the only one. Once, we had our dishes we didn't eat until food was photographed. We had a few looks but what the heck.

Readville Train Station, Hyde Park, MA
I believe that is a image of Billy Mays. I went on a fun photowalk yesterday, more on that in the next few days. Happy Sunday

Small Bits

I was back in Needham on Thursday. I took a stroll around the center to photograph and run some errands. Sadly, that day was a bit cloudy, so not the quite the same light, as the last outing. It is fun to go back to a place and find new things. My favorite is the hand drawn "Don't be The Hare" sign.
