I walked from Back Bay T station to Downtown Boston. Some of the shots along the way. I started at Neiman Marcus (bottom) and ended with the ruby shoes near South Station. I haven't photographed in Boston in a few weeks, I missed it.
After a walk in The Audubon Sanctuary in Canton, my friend Steph, and I decided to buy some plants at the greenhouse on Endicott Estate. I bought some flowers and a few cherry tomato plants. They get to sit by my office window for a few weeks. I buy plants from the greenhouse every year. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the give the money they earn to the public schools for scholarships and trips to the Arnold Arboretum. We signed up for a garden plot but there is a long waiting list. I think by the time I am 60 I will have one. A while from now.

My yard is full of blooming flowers and some ready to bloom. I love spring, it is a time where everything seems to come to life. I took out my macro lens and had a photo safari in my back yard. I love to capture the delicate details of these flowers
To celebrate Earth Day and being green, Gallery 9, put on this lovely show. There was a wide variety of work. My entry is the flower in the middle of the top photo. My piece was among some really nice works of art. A generous portion of all show sales will go to Massachusetts Audubon Visual Arts Center in Canton. This is the last show before the Gallery and Frame shop move to a new location in Norwood.

After our Zoo adventure, we stopped by Doyle's Cafe in Boston. I love all the signs and political posters on the walls. It feels steeped in history, the cafe was built in 1882. Many a Massachusetts politician has stopped by for food and drink. We played a little hangman while waiting for our lunch.

A week or so ago we all meet at Vintage by Crystal's home for our monthly meeting. We watched the tape of Crystal appearance on the Martha Stewart show, had a some show and tell, and we talked about working full time in our craft. A very productive meeting not to mention having it in Crystal's home. She has such a menagerie of artful objects all around her home. A feast for the eyes.

We stopped by this little store, Tokai, on our photowalk in Porter Square. It had started to rain quite a bit so it was a nice rest bit. I love this little store. It is chock full of Japanese gifts from elegant pottery to fun little toys.
