I was meeting my friend in Dedham Square for lunch at High Street Cafe. I parked next to this van. I just had to photograph the art on this van. Very cool!

Cats and pesky squirrels

I caught the cats looking at the squirrels outside. The little, pesky critters were in the process of stealing the lids of our newly carved pumpkins. They managed to get two lids, but struggled with a third. This provided great entertainment for the cats

Quiet, Hyde Park, MA

This is a few minutes drive from my home in Dedham. 

Walk to Train Station, Dedham to Readville

This is walk from my home to the Readville train station a mile away. My husband goes to this station everyday to get to work. Sometimes, I am too sleepy to drive him. Then I have to get the car if I need it. It is good exercise.

Boooo, Annual Pumpkin Carving

Every year we have a pumpkin carving party with family and friends. We have lots of pizza and carving. The end result is a set of scary and not so scary pumpkins. This year was a great success. 

Antique

I visited my friend, Paula Wiseman's home the other day for her open house. She has wonderful home, that was built in the 1800's. The home is hidden away with a view of a beautiful pond. Her and her husband collect antiques and had many fun items. Paula, still has a hand print mold, she made as a kid. She is the only one of seven kids to still have hers. She was gracious enough to let me photograph her home.

Bromfield St, Boston

Bromfield Street is a funky little street just off of Washington Street, Downtown Crossing in Boston. One of my favorite places is Silvertone. It has a great wine list and delicious comfort food. I took these during one of my many walks around Boston

North End, Boston

On Sunday, My husband and I visited the North end. I had to pick up my artwork from the Glovebox 2nd annual Urban Art Market show. I sadly, did not sell anything but it was nice to have something in the show. I love this top fish photo, It was taken at Mercato del Mare on Salem Street. We decided to have lunch at Neptune Oyster on Salem Street. The restaurant was cozy with a cool old fashioned feel. We loved the food and had always wanted to try this restaurant. After lunch, we walked over to Caffe Vittoria for desert. We spent a bit of time walking around so I could photograph the area, such as one of my favorite stores Acquire. My husband is very patient with my photographing.

Quirky South End, Boston

I walked the South End on Monday. It was a beautiful day and I was riding into Boston with my friend, Steph. She takes a French class on Mondays at the French Library. The South End has tons of cool little restaurants, and quirky, fun shops. I walked for an hour or so along Tremont and Columbus street. There is much more to explore in the South End in the future!
